Cyber Security Engineering is a subfield of computer science. It focuses on both the practical and theoretical aspects of cybersecurity in a range of key areas such as network security and vulnerability assessment, information security policy and governance, digital forensics, and ethical hacking.
Students will gain a solid foundation in traditional computer and network security concepts and skills. Additionally, the course is designed to address the evolving secure computing environment, which includes not only computers but also network-enabled devices such as smartphones, tablets, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
