At American Western University, students participate in courses online according to a structured schedule. Our distance learning model includes three distinct methods:

  1. Live Online Classes
Certain courses are delivered live over the internet based on the academic staff’s schedule. Students can ask questions interactively and share documents with their instructors. Instructors can share their screens and view students’ screens (with permission), providing direct support, especially in practical lessons. Students are responsible for the content from live classes for their exams and projects.
  2. Video Online Classes
AWU students receive part of their education through online video lectures. Some practical or theoretical courses are delivered via videos prepared by the academic staff. Video lectures are continuously updated. Required videos for students are provided at registration and at the start of each term. Students are accountable for the video lecture content in their exams and projects.
  3. Online Seminars
Gaining popularity during the 2020 pandemic, American Western University offers live online seminars. Professional or personal development courses are delivered via live broadcasts by the university’s academic staff or industry experts. The seminar schedule is communicated through the website, student portal, and emails when necessary. Seminars are typically exclusive to students but can sometimes be open to the public.

The mission of American Western University is to view education as a right and ensure students can swiftly access professional knowledge. AWU integrates all necessary educational models and techniques to prepare students effectively for their careers.
